Shamanic Death Doula Comedienne.
Elena began studying Shamanism while preparing to hold space for her father dying of brain cancer. As a yoga teacher, and character comedienne, she turned to her inner sacred play to navigate the divine space that death offers us.
After her father’s passing, she studied Death Midwifery and energy medicine. These years of deep study have led her to synthesize the tools she gained in the spiritual space to offer them to students worldwide through her Book, speaking events, private sessions, and Griefcation™ retreats.
Elena was born and raised on Matinecock land in Port Washington, New York. Elena has a BFA in Acting from SUNY Fredonia and Middlesex University, London.
She is a trained Death Midwife, Reiki certified, and Shamanic Energy Medicine Apprentice.
Her love of culture led her to solo travel the world learning the stories, food, language, and art of nearly every continent. She weaves the flavors of the globe into her work with a sense of playful artistry and reverence.
